How much will my delivery cost?
Mainland UK delivery is free when you spend £100 or more .Orders of values less than £100 will incur a delivery charge of £11.95 covering postage and thermo packaging to keep the meat in perfect condition. Costs for shipping to outlying areas of the UK may vary so please contact us for an accurate quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Electron, Solo and PayPal all powered securely by SagePay – the largest payment Gateway in the UK. Sorry no cheques or cash on delivery.
How do I know when my order will arrive?
We will contact you once your order has been placed to organise a delivery date and time. There is a comment section in the checkout process for you to leave any specific instructions.
What if I am not going to be in when the delivery comes?
We always ask the courier to leave the package in a safe place (if possible) or with one of your neighbours if not. The driver will then leave a note explaining where the parcel has been left for you to collect at your leisure. You can state any delivery instructions and where you wish for your order to be left in the checkout stages. Normal delivery times are usually before 1pm. This may vary due to traffic conditions.
How can I be sure that my order will arrive fresh? How will my order be packed?
Your order will be prepared freshly on the day it will go out for delivery. Once cut, your meat will be vacuum packed to keep the product fresh. It will then be packed into our high quality temperature controlled thermo boxes. These are specially insulted boxes, which are then lined with ice sheets that ensure the meat is kept at the right temperature, arriving to you in perfect condition.
Check out our Delivery and Packaging page for more information. All our meat is sent out fresh! NOT FROZEN. So on receiving your order we advise you remove the meat from the thermo box, and refrigerate it immediately.
What if I need to track my order?
We use Uk Mail for delivery of our orders. Your order confirmation will include your unique consignment/order number. You can track your parcel with this number via the courier you chose at checkout. You will receive updates on your order status regularly from us and the courier of choice so you know your order is on its way.
Martins Meats offer a full refund if the customer is not happy with the products they have received.
The customer MUST notify us within 24hrs of receiving the delivery, by e-mail or phone.
Fresh products MUST be kept refrigerated prior to return, and be in the same condition as when delivered. The customer must adhere to these conditions to receive a full refund.
Postage deliveries MUST be posted back to us by the customer. They must notify us within 24hrs and we must receive the goods back by post within 48hrs of delivery.
